In 2016 Collab was invited to participate and advise the Obama administration on the future of Makerspaces and the value they bring to the community. It was truly an honor to work with so many thoughtful people, who are dedicated to creating accessible spaces throughout the country. The group that gathered that day was inspiring and committed. It was a day I will never forget. We put together some images that were a collection of everyone who captured the day. We pieced together this video as a memory of the day. Marc wrote a wonderful piece as well about the Obama Administration and their dedication to the movement.
